Alpha Xi Delta inspires women to realize their potential by providing opportunities for Sisterhood, leadership knowledge and service. Since our founding in 1893, we have grown into an empowering organization consisting of more than 150,000 initiated members with about 100 active sisters currently in the Beta Tau chapter at Kent State University. Beta Tau has been given numerous awards in the Greek Community to highlight our dedication to Sisterhood, Community, and Leadership. Our sisterhood continues to grow through sisterhoods, retreats, philanthropy events and so much more. Our sisters build their leadership skills by attending leadership conferences and being active in other organizations on Kent State’s campus. Our knowledge is exemplified through the number of sisters on the Dean’s List and the numerous study hours the sisters complete each semester. Our service is shown through the amount of awareness and funds we raise for our local impact organization, Caring for Kids. This year we are proud to say that we raised over $40,000.
