Beta Tau

Alpha Xi Delta sorority is proudly partnered with Autism Speaks.  As the largest autism advocacy and research organization in the world, Autism Speaks is dedicated to funding research into the causes and prevention of autism; finding treatments and a cure for autism; increasing awareness of autism spectrum disorders; and advocating for the needs of individuals with autism and their families.  The Beta Tau chapter of Alpha Xi Delta focuses on raising both money and awareness to support Autism Speaks.

Every fall, we host an event called Xi Man.  Our sisters team up to coach fraternities and sororities to help them make up skits incorporating facts about Alpha Xi Delta and Autism Speaks and also to assist in their fundraising efforts.  This past year, we raised over $54,000.00 for Autism Speaks.

To help raise Autism Awareness, we participate in Light It Up Blue for Autism Speaks as a part of Autism Awareness Month in April.  We host a contest for all of the sororities and fraternities to raise awareness by decking out their houses in blue decorations. This past spring semester we hosted our first ever Football FrenXi philanthropy event! Chapters of the greek community participated in flag football to raise Autism Awareness throughout the month of April!
