Beta Tau

at Kent State University

Alpha Xi Delta inspires women to realize their potential by providing opportunities for Sisterhood, leadership knowledge and service. Since our founding in 1893, we have grown into an empowering organization consisting of more than 150,000 initiated members with about 180 active sisters currently in the Beta Tau chapter at Kent State University. Beta Tau has been given a numerous number of awards in the Greek Community including sorority of the year at Kent State six out of the past eight years! The chapter also received excellence in scholarship, leadership, community, philanthropy, and Sisterhood the past two years. Our sisterhood continues to grow through events such as sisterhoods, retreats, philanthropy events and so much more. Our sisters build their leadership skills by attending leadership conferences and being active in other organizations on Kent State’s campus. Our knowledge is exemplified through the number of sisters on Dean’s List and the numerous study hours the sisters complete each semester. Our service is shown through the amount of awareness and funds we raise for Autism Speaks, last year raising over $63,000 and also being recognized as the top fundraising chapter in the country! The Beta Tau Chapter of Alpha Xi Delta provides so many incredible opportunities. Check out the rest of our website and social media accounts to learn more about us!
